Experience
Joe Slayton started his accounting career in the summer of 2019 at a small non-profit organization, where he was responsible for various recordkeeping duties. Later that year, Joe began his public accounting career as an intern at Lotito & Lazzara, P.C., and he was eventually hired as a full-time staff accountant in early 2021.
Education
Joe received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oakland University in December 2020. He is currently working towards becoming a CPA.
Personal
In Joe’s free time, he enjoys hanging out with family and friends and playing recreational sports. Over the past few years, he has played in several flag football and softball leagues—with a few championships to prove it!
