Our Mentors

a/k/a Our Dutch Aunts & Uncles

Definitions: A person who issues frank comments to educate or encourage someone, often with benevolent intent. Also, a frank critic or adviser: someone, typically a mentor, who advises or criticizes in a frank, sometimes harsh manner (informal).

This group of people has as much to do with who we are and where we are as our own families. In fact, we view most of the people on this list as part of our family. They believed in us from the very beginning and gave us a chance when they didn’t have to. Not only that, they went above and beyond to provide guidance and made sure others knew we were part of their teams.

The “street cred” we got from that was immeasurable for two relative kids getting started in the business world. We have the utmost respect for all of these people, and we will always be grateful for our association with them. This page is dedicated to them for their part in making a difficult time much more enjoyable.
