2020 Tax Season Preparation
It’s hard to believe, but the 2020 tax season is right around the corner! Because a little preparation today produces better results tomorrow, we are already looking ahead. We value your input and ask that you take note of the following:
~ Your 2020 Tax Organizer will be mailed out to you in January. Please watch your mailbox for this! In your Tax Organizer, you will find our annual checklist as well as a postage-paid (who gives free postage anymore!) envelope to allow you to mail your tax documents back to us hassle-free.
~ If, in the past year, you have had changes to your address, phone number, or email address, please let us know so that we may update our records accordingly. Simply contact us with any updates we should make to your account.
~ Please also take a moment to log into your Client Gateway, if you have not done so recently. If you have forgotten your username and/or password, please contact us and we will be happy to provide you with that information. In addition to delivering your tax return electronically, the Client Gateway can also be used to upload your tax documents directly to us and to pay your invoice online (how cool!).
~ As a reminder, all tax returns will be delivered electronically to your secure Client Gateway. If you prefer a paper copy of your return instead of electronic delivery (or in addition to electronic delivery), please be sure to check the appropriate box on your Checklist when it arrives in January and we will be happy to accommodate your request. Please note that a $25 fee will be charged should you choose to request paper copies of your tax return.
We want to remind everyone that most of our staff is working remotely and not in the office on a daily basis. Please remember that email is the best form of communication. All email addresses can be found on your website.
We ask that all those able, to please utilize the gateway for your completed tax returns, uploading documents, and uploading your 8879. We also include postage-paid envelopes with our organizers so anyone not comfortable with uploading their documents can mail them in those.
